Pinochio

I was reading an old child story that my mother used to read me and my twin when she was alive, it was a darker themed pinochio...then my friends pointed out how messed up it was.

the story is;
a puppet falls in love with a beautiful young lady but he cant be with her, so he meets a blood red fairy, she grants his wish to make him human only if he gets her ox blood every day.

one day he forgets and the fairy turns him back into a puppet and uses his blood instead.

maybe this is why irish people have such dark humor....
